Its CNC-machined aluminium-alloy chassis features a 3-slot RIS frame rail for flexible accessory mounting, while the higher-profile integrated green-fibre sights deliver swift, bright sight acquisition in dynamic CQB or outdoor play. Dummy RDS mount points enhance the optic-ready appearance without altering sight height or handling balance. A secure lanyard loop sits at the base of the frame to support retention during active use.
Accuracy is driven by a 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel at 113mm, providing tight grouping performance and predictable BB flight. The 24-round double-stack magazine includes a large internal reservoir that stabilises gas pressure and reduces FPS drop-off across long firing strings. The platform supports extended 48-round and CO2 magazine variants, and each pistol ships with a CO2 spring, spare gas nozzle and full seal kit for long-term serviceability.
The R9-4 retains the family’s dual-stage trigger system, offering a longer, heavier first pull with crisp single-stage follow-ups as the slide re-cocks the hammer. The slide-mounted selector toggles between Single and Safe, with Safe decocking the hammer for secure carry. The internal hop adjuster, accessed under the slide, enables rapid on-field tuning. Utility is strengthened by a large trigger guard for gloved operation, a threaded 12mm outer barrel for direct-fit devices and a finely-stippled HIPS grip for confident control.
