First entering the stage in 1903, the Springfield M1903 rifle saw service with the US Army in the trenches of the First World War, the European and Pacific theatres of WW2 with the USMC and Army, and even to this day remains in service in a limited capacity.
The M1903A3 Springfield was designed in 1942, and features a new M1 Garand-inspired rear ironsight. For those Airsofters, reenactors and collectors who are captivated by details and authenticity, this replica is essential for 1942-1944 era USMC and US Army impressions and loadouts – but it is perfectly acceptable for WW1 era impressions.
S&T have accurately recreated the look and feel of the M1903A3’s bolt, trigger and receiver, even making a fully functioning replica of the M1903’s safety mechanism. Constructed from steel and alloy and finished to excellent standards, the bolt feels solidly robust, smooth to operate and is satisfying to shoot.
